TradingView
An approved invite-only account, webhook-capable plan, and two-factor authentication.
SPY SNIPES Setup
Request invite-only SPY SNIPES access from the author, then connect its confirmed one-minute alerts to a TradersPost strategy carefully. Verify every order decision before enabling live execution.
Invite-only keeps the Pine source code hidden and limits use to TradingView accounts the author has explicitly approved. A publication link alone does not grant access.
Before you start
An approved invite-only account, webhook-capable plan, and two-factor authentication.
An options strategy, broker-linked subscription, and a private strategy webhook URL.
A supported connected account with paper trading available for end-to-end verification.
Eight steps
Message the author on TradingView and include your exact TradingView username. Access is granted to that account by the author, so confirm the spelling before sending it.
Wait until the author confirms approval, then sign in to the approved TradingView account. Open SPY on a standard candlestick chart and set the timeframe to 1 minute. The script blocks signals on other timeframes.
Select Indicators → Invite-only scripts → SPY SNIPES and add it to the chart. Invite-only access keeps the Pine source hidden and requires the author to approve your TradingView account before the script is available.
Start with the published defaults: EMA 50, three-bar cross sync, directional candle required, session filter on from 9:30 a.m. through 3:55 p.m. Eastern, five signals per day, and a one-bar cooldown. The anchor-order, anchor-expansion, and EMA-slope filters are off by default. Leave the webhook ticker set to SPY unless your verified TradersPost configuration requires something else.
Connect a supported broker in TradersPost, create an options strategy, and create a subscription linking that strategy to the broker account. Review the subscription's option selection, position sizing, allowed actions, order submission, and exit handling yourself. The script sends buy/bullish for CALL and sell/bearish for PUT. It does not send an exit action, contract, quantity, stop, or target. Confirm how TradersPost will interpret each action before use.
From the TradersPost strategy dashboard, copy the strategy's complete webhook URL. Treat it like a password: anyone who has it may be able to send signals to that strategy. Never post, share, or screenshot it.
On the configured SPY chart, create an alert with SPY SNIPES as the condition and choose Any alert() function call. In Notifications, enable Webhook URL and paste the TradersPost strategy URL. TradingView requires two-factor authentication for webhook alerts. Use the JSON message produced by the script; do not replace it with an unverified payload. If that condition is unavailable, stop and contact support before proceeding.
Trigger and observe the full workflow in a paper-trading account first. Confirm that TradersPost receives the signal, selects the intended contract, applies the expected size, and handles entries and exits as configured. Paper results are simulations and can differ from live execution.
Published version reference
These defaults come from SPY SNIPES v7.4.2. Recheck them whenever Noetic publishes a new version.
One-minute chart required. Session filter: 9:30–15:55. Maximum five signals per day. Cooldown: one bar.
EMA length 50. VWAP/EMA cross sync: three bars. Directional candle required. Anchor-order filter off.
Expansion filter off. Fast EMA 9, one-bar expansion lookback, EMA-slope alignment off, slope lookback 3.
CALL emits buy/bullish. PUT emits sell/bearish. Price fields are the underlying chart close. Default payload ticker: SPY.
Reset behavior: after a CALL, another CALL is locked until price closes below both anchors. After a PUT, another PUT is locked until price closes above both. An opposite signal is a new directional event—not an exit instruction.
Keep alerts current
TradingView saves a snapshot of the script, its inputs, and the chart context when an alert is created. Recreate the alert after changing SPY SNIPES inputs or moving to a new published version.
Troubleshooting
Confirm SPY, the one-minute timeframe, the enabled 9:30–15:55 session filter, the current published script version, and its configured filters and limits. A setup is not guaranteed to occur.
Check that the alert is active, uses SPY SNIPES and Any alert() function call, has Webhook URL enabled, and was recreated after the last script or input change. Review TradingView's alert log and webhook status.
Review the TradersPost webhook log, enabled subscription, broker connection, allowed ticker, market hours, buying power, contract filters, sizing, auto-submit, and broker rejection details.

Options trading involves substantial risk, including loss of the entire amount committed to a trade. SPY SNIPES provides non-personalized technical signals; it does not execute trades, select contracts, size positions, manage exits, or guarantee results. You are solely responsible for all automation and trading decisions.
